Your role on our team: As a member of the IT Department, the Application Developer will play a key role in designing, coding, testing, and implementing software applications that meet both functional and technical requirements. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing scalable and maintainable applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying updated on emerging technologies.

The Application Developer will possess a strong background in both developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and administering these tools to ensure optimal performance and security. As a Developer/Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining customized applications, workflows, and ensuring the overall health and governance of Minto\'s environment.

In this role, you will:

• Design, code, test, and deploy high-quality software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
• Ensure the efficiency, performance, and responsiveness of applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in relevant languages (Power Platform, MuleSoft, MS SQL, etc.)
• Utilize development frameworks and libraries to accelerate software development (i.e. Azure DevOps)
• Participate in the analysis and design phases of software development projects.
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and system architecture.
• Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve software defects and issues.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the reliability and accuracy of applications.
• Create and maintain documentation for software architecture, design, and code, as well as ensure version control.
• Provide clear and comprehensive technical documentation for end-users and fellow developers.
• Work closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of applications with existing systems and services.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
• Continuously enhance technical skills and bring new ideas to the development team.

We would like you to have:

Experience:

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; specifically, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Enrolment in a Bachelor\'s or Master\'s program in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Prior experience with database design and implementation (SQL, NoSQL).
• Exposure to front-end development technologies (HTML,CSS, JavaScript) is advantageous but not required.
• Proven experience in both developing and administrating solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
• Experience with Microsoft Dataverse and Common Data Service.
• Knowledge of SharePoint and Dynamics 365 integration with Power Platform.
• Familiarity with Azure services and integration
• Familiarity with backend development and RESTful APIs.
• Experience in agile development methodologies.
