KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



The Community Services Department is currently looking for students to work in our Facilities Division as Parks Labourers this summer. Applicants must enjoy working outside and must be available for a variety of working hours. Duties includes, lawn care, gardening, garbage pick-up, public washroom monitoring, painting, minor repairs and other general labour duties as required.



QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a valid Class 5 driver's licence. You will have to provide a copy of this.
• Intermediate First Aid and CPR is required.
• Experience with equipment, trailers, lawn mowers, gardening considered an asset.
• Please include any labouring experience you may have, either at a workplace, or around your home.
• A satisfactory Criminal Records Check is required prior to commencing work

HOURS OF WORK AND RATE OF PAY:



Rate of Pay: $27.45 per hour plus 4% vacation pay.



Anticipated Start Date: May 5, 2025



Hours of work: 40 Hours per week. 8 hour days, 5 days a week. Shifts can start as early as 5am and some shifts may be on weekends.
