Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic

Specialty Camp Manager

to oversee all specialty programs and spirited camp traditions at our Burlington campus. This leadership role is key to ensuring that every specialty program runs smoothly, staff feel supported, and campers enjoy high-quality, engaging experiences. The Specialty Camp Manager helps set the tone for a positive camp culture and ensures our traditions continue to bring energy, pride, and community to Camp KidsTown.

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of all specialty camps and programs to ensure smooth, organized, and engaging experiences. Mentor, train, and support staff to deliver exceptional specialty programming. Uphold and celebrate camp traditions that foster spirit, community, and camper pride. Communicate effectively with parents about programs, camper experiences, and upcoming events. Monitor camper behavior and guide positive conflict resolution when needed. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and camp policies. Evaluate specialty programs and traditions, making improvements to strengthen future seasons.

Qualifications

Proven leadership experience in camp, recreation, or educational settings. Strong background in program development and staff management. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Creative, spirited, and passionate about working with children. Ability to balance oversight of multiple specialty programs while supporting staff and nurturing camp spirit.
