Select is looking for an Agricultural Recruiter to join our team over the summer! The ideal candidate will be able to come up with multiple strategies to reach a diverse group of potential hires. Are you a student looking to build your experience in HR? Then this may be the opportunity for you!

• The rate of pay is expected to be $18 - $20/hr.
• This is a full-time, Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday, seasonal position running from May - August
• Some overtime may be expected

• Recruiting, sourcing, prescreening, and completing pre-employment assessments for agricultural workers
• Building relationships with rural communities to ensure targets are met in each region of Southern Alberta
• Managing employee work schedules, safety, and maintaining general communication
• Creating effective job advertisements to attract potential employees

• A broad understanding of (or keen interest in!) the agriculture industry
• A technological aptitude: ability to type, use a database, use online resources, etc.
• Ability to stay organized and to prioritize!
• A high level of accountability
• A positive outlook and a make-it-happen attitude
• Must be personable, friendly, and task oriented

• Previous experience in sales, project management, or the agriculture industry
