HOW YOU'LL MAKE A POSITIVE IMPACT
GIRO is looking for several software development interns for the Fall 2025 term. At GIRO, you'll be an integral part of a development team and collaborate with software experts who have deep expertise in public transit and postal services. Come grow and learn with us! In addition to discovering how to work in an agile environment, a development internship at GIRO means:
Participating in the design and development stages of a large-scale software product suite: functional design, architecture, detailed analysis, and programming;
Developing new features in applications;
Implementing and testing software functionalities;
Managing bugs (OBS) and finding appropriate solutions to fix them.
Your internship will also involve:
Providing technical support to development and project teams using the features developed by your team;
Writing detailed technical analysis documents.
THE SKILLS THAT WILL MAKE YOU AN ESSENTIAL MEMBER OF OUR TEAM
You have completed at least two years of a bachelor's degree in a relevant or related field (computer science, computer or software engineering, mathematics, etc.);
You enjoy and are proficient in object-oriented programming;
You enjoy working in a team and being in a collaborative environment;
You communicate fluently in French, both spoken and written.
