SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Food and Beverage Services Manager, the Suite Attendant provides exceptional service while working collectively and cooperatively with the Food and Beverage Department, specifically in the suite\'s environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Under the direction of the Food & Beverage Services Manager, the Suite Attendant is responsible for the following:

Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times

Report for scheduled event on time and report to assigned area in a timely manner

Fulfills opening and closing duties as dictated by management

Must be knowledgeable of other food, beverage and retail outlets within the arena

Provide guests with personal service and attention to detail that will exceed expectations

Replenish food, condiments, service-ware and utensils as needed

Maintain the highest level of professionalism and service while abiding by Westerner Park\xe2\x80\x99s service standards

Extensive knowledge of food and beverage menus, along with specials and services offered

Ability to open, present and serve wine to guests

Present overall invoice of charges to suite host/hostess and obtain appropriate signatures

Maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment

Communicate effectively with Supervisors and Management

Work as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within the Suites area

Perform and successfully complete tasks assigned by management

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS

Must possess or have the ability to obtain AGLC ProServe certification

Stadium/Arena suites experience preferred; orientation and on-the-job training are provided

Possess good interpersonal skills

Ability to follow direction with minimum supervision

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Must be willing to work hours that vary, according to the event schedule

Strong teamwork attitude

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat and water

Handling and transporting of loads of up to 50 lbs

Given Westerner Park is in the Major Events industry, this individual will need the ability to be adaptable and flexible with their time. Work will include evenings and/or weekend shifts as event volume dictates.

Rate of Pay: $15.00 to $16.32 per hour

Note: This role is casual in nature. Casual employees may work up to 24 hours per week and are not guaranteed shifts or hours.
