Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our fast-paced food service team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent customer service skills, and experience working in quick service or fast food environments. This role involves preparing delicious sandwiches, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive experience for all customers. Previous experience working at Subway and POS systems is a plus, along with a solid understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.

Duties

Prepare a variety of sandwiches and other menu items according to company recipes and standards Operate POS systems including order processing and cash handling Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with health regulations Manage food inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed Handle cashier duties including processing payments accurately and efficiently Ensure timely order completion to meet customer expectations in a quick service environment

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or retail food environments is preferred Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and sales transactions Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Experience working in quick service or fast food restaurants is desirable Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to fast-paced settings Basic kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus but not required

Pay: $17.20-$23.96 per hour
