Duties

Prepare sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing customer orders and payments Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Skills

Proficient in food preparation techniques with a strong understanding of food handling practices Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with customers Knowledge of basic math for handling cash transactions accurately Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation practices in a kitchen environment Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is a plus Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining quality standards
