We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards. Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organized, and sanitized. Operate the POS system efficiently, including handling cash transactions and processing payments. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and upselling menu items. Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations during food handling and preparation. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours. Assist in training new staff on food preparation techniques and sanitation practices.

Experience

Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, particularly in sandwich making or similar roles. Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
