We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. Duties

Prepare high-quality sandwiches according to customer orders, ensuring freshness and presentation. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas. Handle cash transactions with precision and adhere to cash handling procedures. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and upselling menu items. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure safe food handling practices are upheld at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential. A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
