We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.

Duties

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications while ensuring quality and presentation. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering any questions about menu items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines. Assist with food preparation tasks, including slicing meats, chopping vegetables, and preparing sauces. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the restaurant.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Experience with cashiering and operating POS systems is a plus. Knowledge of sanitation standards in kitchen environments is essential.
