Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires attention to detail, strong time management skills, and a passion for food service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing customer orders efficiently. Handle cash transactions accurately while providing friendly and attentive customer service. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed. Follow all food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is required.
