Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Prepare sandwiches according to customer specifications, ensuring freshness and quality. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations, following sanitation protocols. Assist with food handling, including stocking ingredients and managing inventory levels. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Strong food preparation skills with knowledge of food safety practices. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Knowledge of sanitation standards and food handling regulations is essential.
