Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and other food items, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, customer service, and food safety within a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Duties

Prepare a variety of sandwiches and food items according to established recipes and customer specifications Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and service areas Handle food safely, adhering to all health regulations and safety protocols Assist customers with their orders, answer questions about menu items, and upsell additional products when appropriate Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times Restock supplies as needed and assist with kitchen organization Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or food service preferred, especially in restaurant or fast-food environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations for transactions Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus Basic understanding of upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities
