Duties

Prepare sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper sanitation practices. Operate the POS system efficiently, including Micros POS, to process customer orders and payments. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and upselling menu items. Handle cash transactions responsibly and ensure accurate cash handling practices. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely food preparation and service during peak hours. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food items are handled properly throughout the preparation process. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash accurately. Familiarity with sanitation standards and food safety regulations. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary. Experience with cashiering and upselling techniques is a plus.
