We're looking for an experienced
Sub-prime Finance Manager
to lead our team of 18 finance professionals in
Sherwood Park, AB
. In this hands-on role, you'll coach your team, structure deals, and build strong lender relationships -- all while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 18 finance sales representatives.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on results, customer satisfaction, and compliance.
Deal Structuring & Lender Relations
Review subprime credit applications and structure deals to meet lender guidelines and maximize approvals.
Maintain strong, professional relationships with subprime lenders and financial institutions.
Provide direct support on complex deals, including lender communication, approvals, and objection handling.
Compliance & Process Management
Ensure all financial transactions meet AMVIC and federal regulatory standards.
Champion best practices across the finance team to ensure consistent, ethical, and customer-focused operations.
What You Bring to the Role
3+ years of management experience in automotive finance, with a focus on subprime lending.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire sales teams.
Deep understanding of credit underwriting, lender criteria, and provincial/federal compliance.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment.
AMVIC license (or willingness to obtain).
Fluency in a second language is considered an asset.
