Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and flexible Substitutes/On-Call ITE or ECE licensed and ECEA licensed professionals to join our early childhood education team. This role involves providing high-quality care and educational support to children in various classroom settings. The position offers an opportunity to work with children of diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities, and to contribute positively to their developmental experiences. Ideal candidates will have a passion for early childhood education, caregiving, and working with young learners.

Responsibilities

Provide supervision and care for children in classroom environments, ensuring a safe and nurturing atmosphere Implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, socialization, and development Support teachers and staff in daily classroom routines and activities Assist with behavioral management and individualized support for children with disabilities or special needs Maintain communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs Follow all licensing regulations, safety protocols, and program policies Adapt to different classroom settings as needed, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism

Requirements

Valid ITE or ECE license or ECEA license and First Aid certificate Prior classroom experience working with young children preferred Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong teaching skills, patience, and a caring attitude Background in early childhood education or caregiving roles highly desirable Ability to work on an on-call basis with flexibility for various shifts Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with children, families, and team members Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment
