Studio Manager

This is a one year maternity leave contract starting November 1st 2025 with the possibility to extend for the right person.

Honeybea is a beloved sustainable fashion and heirloom textile brand located in Toronto's Art + Design District. Established in 2003, Honeybea has nurtured a Canadian and international following with all of our pieces designed, cut and sewn in Toronto and sold worldwide through our e-commerce website and locally at our charming Kensington Market storefront. Established by textile artist Rebecca Caulford, Honeybea is a deeply creative and unwaveringly heartfelt slow fashion brand that employs a diverse and close-knit team of craftswomen, seamstresses, freelancers and managers who work collaboratively to ensure its continued growth and success.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and highly efficient studio manager to join our sustainable fashion business. This operations-based position requires a creative and business-savvy individual with excellent organization, communication and problem solving skills, and the ability to multitask and self-direct within a thriving small business dynamic. This position will report directly to the founder/director.

Responsibilities include:

- General Business Operations + Admin

- Customer Service

- Inventory Management

- Online Marketplace Management

- Shipping/Receiving/Logistics

- Marketing + Sales (website management and inventory optimization, email marketing, social media + META strategy, SEO).

- Experience with Shopify a must

- Experience and knowledge surrounding Pinterest and Instagram a must

- Experience with MailerLite or Klaviyo an asset

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Flexible hours/availability

Compensation is commensurate with experience and skill-set. While this opportunity is based on a 1-year contract, there is always a possibility of permanency within our small team for the right person!
