Job Overview



We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Student Coordinator to join our educational team.

In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for student issues and serve as a vital link between students, faculty, and administration, fostering an engaging and supportive academic environment.

Responsibilities



1. Student Services



Serve as the first point of contact for student inquiries, concerns, and support needs. Organize and lead student orientations. Monitor attendance, academic progress, and mid-point evaluations. Coordinate student activities, engagement events, and tutoring support.

2. Placement Coordination & Career Prep



Secure and maintain relationships with placement sites across all programs. Manage placement documentation (medical, VSC, affiliation agreements). Monitor and track student placement hours and progress. Address placement-related issues in collaboration with faculty and leadership.

3. Compliance



Maintain accurate student records in Campus Login and Brightspace. Ensure compliance with MCU regulations and institutional policies. Submit required program and student documentation on time. Track and ensure faculty compliance with required certifications and files.

4. Administrative & Operational Duties



Assist in proctoring exams and managing make-up assessments. Enter grades into the system and prepare student transcripts. Support diverse committee initiatives. Liaise with admissions, finance, and faculty to support smooth program delivery.

5. Other Duties



Coordinate academic advising sessions, ensuring students receive personalized guidance on course selection, career planning, and academic progress. Maintain detailed records of student participation, program outcomes, and administrative documentation to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. Provide leadership in managing student organizations or clubs by mentoring student leaders and facilitating leadership development activities. Assist in College administration tasks such as scheduling events, preparing reports, and supporting research projects related to student success.

Qualifications



Post-secondary education in any field. Experience in academic scheduling, student services, or placement coordination. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication skills and ability to manage relationships with students, faculty, and placement partners. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
