Le College Cestar est a la recherche d'un(e) agent(e) en services aux etudiants a temps plein. Le titulaire du poste jouera un role essentiel dans le maintien d'une experience positive pour les etudiant(e)s au campus.

Les responsabilites comprennent notamment :



Services d'aide aux etudiants:

Mettre les etudiants en contact avec des services de soutien tels que le tutorat, les conseils, l'orientation professionnelle, les services d'aide aux personnes handicapees et les ressources academiques.

Assister dans les taches administratives:

Il peut effectuer diverses taches administratives telles que la saisie de donnees, le classement, la photocopie et la telecopie de documents.

Participer a des projets speciaux:

Participer a des projets speciaux ou a des taches selon les besoins de l'organisation.

Faire preuve de discretion:

Maintenir la stricte confidentialite des informations sensibles.

Inscription aux cours:

Aider les etudiants a s'inscrire aux cours, notamment en les aidant a comprendre les conditions prealables, la disponibilite des cours et les procedures d'inscription.

Orientation et integration:

Faciliter les programmes d'orientation des nouveaux etudiants pour les aider a s'acclimater a l'institution, a comprendre les politiques et a acceder aux ressources.

Aide a l'inscription:

Aider les etudiants a s'inscrire a des cours, notamment en les aidant a faire des demandes d'ajout et de retrait et a resoudre les conflits d'emploi du temps.

Aide a l'admission

: Aider les futurs etudiants dans le processus d'admission, notamment en ce qui concerne la soumission des candidatures, la verification des documents et l'inscription.

Engagement des etudiants:

Promouvoir l'implication des etudiants dans les activites, les clubs et les organisations du campus afin d'ameliorer leur experience globale de l'universite.

Conformite et reglementation:

Se tenir au courant des reglementations federales et nationales relatives aux services aux etudiants et veiller a la conformite de l'etablissement.

Developpement professionnel:

Mettre continuellement a jour les connaissances et les competences liees a l'orientation et au conseil des etudiants par le biais d'opportunites de developpement professionnel.

Experience requise :



Le candidat retenu doit etre titulaire d'un baccalaureat ou d'un diplome equivalent. Minimum de 3 ans d'experience postsecondaire (universite, college ou college prive d'enseignement professionnel). La langue francaise (parlee et ecrite) est requise L'anglais est un atout Communication verbale, ecoute, professionnalisme, orientation client et sens de l'organisation.

Cestar College is looking for a full-time Student Services Advisor at the Longueuil Campus location. The incumbent will be critical in maintaining a positive student experience on campus.

Responsibilities Include:



Student Support Services

: Connect students with support services such as tutoring, counseling, career counseling, disability services, and academic resources.

Maintain Discretion:

Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

Course Registration:

Assist students with course registration, including helping them understand prerequisites, course availability, and registration procedures.

Orientation and Onboarding:

Facilitate new student orientation programs to help newcomers acclimate to the institution, understand policies, and access resources.

Enrollment Assistance:

Aid students in enrolling for classes, including helping with add/drop requests and resolving scheduling conflicts.

Admissions Assistance:

Assist prospective students with the admissions process, including application submission, document verification, and enrollment.

Student Engagement:

Promote student involvement in campus activities, clubs, and organizations to enhance their overall college experience.

Compliance and Regulations:

Stay up to date with federal and state regulations related to student services and ensure institutional compliance.

Professional Development

: Continuously update knowledge and skills related to student advising and counseling through professional development opportunities.

Required experience:



The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Minimum 3 years post-secondary experience (university, college, or private career college experience) French language (speaking and writing) is a must English language is an asset Verbal communication, listening, professionalism, customer focused, and organization skills
