Faculty/Department Faculty of Education Unit Education-Other Employee Group CUPE 2419 CUPE 5791 Job Family Category Student Number of Vacancies 1 Position Summary
The successful applicant will provide research support for a project involving Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Education Interventions for Students with Exceptionalities in Inclusive Classrooms

Duties may include:• Attending training workshops/tutorials
• Writing and updating literature reviews
• Providing an evalutative overview of AI tools relevant to Inclusive Mathematics Education, such as: Wolfram Alpha, Mathway, Photomath, Symbolab, Mathos AI, ChatGPT Math
• Conducting and documenting AI Programming to support Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks and Curriculum-Based Measurement (CBM) in reading and mathematics assessments.
• Formatting manuscripts
• Training will be provided in research ethics and interviewing protocols

Position Requirements
Applicants are required to be a full-time graduate student in Education and have experience:• writing literature reviews
• with academic writing requirements
• with APA style
• using qualitative data software NVivo
• using various AI tools (Artificial Intelligence) that are relvant to Inclusive Education

with conducting qualitative research in the area of AI in Education
Physical Demands Pay Grade As Per CUPE 2419 Salary Range As per CUPE 2419 Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours
It is expected the student will work for up to 9 hours of work per week (depending on the availability of work)
