Graduate Research Assistant for a Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation awarded research project, entitled: Shifting the Focus: Understanding the Downstream Impacts of Educator Wellbeing on Students' Attendance, Engagement, and Wellbeing.
Position Requirements
The successful applicant will be responsible for:

conducting an ecological scan on the topic; communicating via e-mail with research participants and team members; participating in team meetings; content creation data collection and analysis co-conducting focus groups and interviews; co-authoring policy papers, conference and other presentations, and report;


The successful applicant will be a Master's student in the Faculty of Education at the University of Regina, with classroom K-12 teaching experience, and will be able to demonstrate previous trauma-informed teaching practices. The successful applicant will have a commitment to equity-centered, resilience-based, trauma-informed education and research to support children, youth, and families. The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate knowledge mobilization initiatives dedicated to supporting practitioners in the field.



The successful applicant will be able to speak experientially to their engagement with children and youth in marginalized and marginalizing contexts, and to their engagement specifically with Indigenous students.



The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate time management skills, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
