Position Summary:
The Indian Ocean World Centre (IOWC) at McGill University seeks one (1) part-time undergraduate research assistant, whose primary responsibility will be to facilitate the IOWC's research on the environmental history of the Indian Ocean World, such as through online archival research.
Additionally, the RA will help to facilitate the IOWC's events, such as our annual conference, and act as an editorial assistant for the IOWC's publications. The latter include the , the , and various publications written by the IOWC's members.

Qualifications:
Candidates should:
Be working towards their undergraduate degree in an Arts-based field e.g. history, literature, communications.
Have demonstrable experience in an editorial role, such as with a student newspaper or academic publication.
Have an interest in Indian Ocean World Studies as an interdisciplinary scholarly field.
