About Us

Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world. The Role

As a member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for the procurement of materials, equipment and services required in operation of all division and departments of Cameco\'s offices, including all mining operations, in a manner that maximizes value for the corporation. This may include supporting project work related to enhancing the value of the SCM services to internal customers, working within the SAP enterprise management solution and gaining exposure to the SCM functions and experience in work process design and optimization.

Required:

  • Currently enrolled in third or fourth year as a university student in business, computer engineering, computer science, or related field. It is considered an asset to major in management, supply chain management, or operations management.
  • Strong aptitude for computer applications such as databases or excel.
  • Ability to evaluate alternatives and look for improvement opportunities.
