DescriptionPoste chez Canadian Medical Protective Association\xe2\x96\xa0 STUDENT, PHYSICIAN SUPPORT AND WELLNESSCONTRIBUTING TO THE CMPAPhysician Support and Wellness (PSW) departmental mission is to foster and champion physician wellbeing, while mitigating medico-legal risk, supporting the delivery of safe medical care, and promoting principles of equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI). Through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, the department uses a multi-pronged approach to i) support members perceived to be at increased risk of a higher frequency of medico-legal events than their peers; ii) promote physician wellness through the support of internal and external activities; iii) champion EDI principles through the support of systemic solutions that address racism and discrimination impacting our members, while strengthening our internal capacity to provide inclusive, safe, and culturally sensitive assistance to members.POSITION OVERVIEWReporting to the Manager, Planning & Projects, and working closely with the Evaluation Specialist, the PSW student will engage in various department projects and initiatives to support growth and achievement of key deliverables for 2024. The successful candidate will participate in evaluating current programs, contribute to the development of evaluation frameworks and assist the PSW Projects and Planning Team in developing workload metrics, project tools and templates.POSITION ACTIVITIES

  • Assist with data collection and survey compilation for evaluation and measurement activities
  • Support development and implementation of evaluation plans
  • Develop tools and templates for project management
  • Collaborate with teammates to transform knowledge to Senior Leadership
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Enrolled in an academic program with a focus on Information Studies, Health Sciences, Evaluation, Public Health, Health Policy, Project Management, or other applicable field, such as Social Science Research or Education
  • Experience in data management and information management
  • Experience with quantitative and/or qualitative research
  • Experience working with Office 365 and related software
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to quality, detail, and accuracy
  • Embodies a solution and results-oriented mindset
  • A strategic, analytical, and critical thinker
  • Ability to develop data-driven insights
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to read French is an asset
POSTING DETAILS
  • Job Type: Temporary Full-Time position from September-December 2024
  • Salary Range: $18.75-$25.50/hour
  • Location: Fully Remote Job - You can work from a home-based office anywhere in the provinces of Ontario and Qu\xc3\xa9bec. If you prefer, you can choose to work out of CMPA\'s office in Ottawa, ON near the beautiful Dow\'s Lake. There is an expectation that you are able to be onsite from time to time on an as needed basis.
