We partner with amazing local Doctors of Optometry and Employ Qualified Opticians to assist our Eye Care Consultants and Student Opticians in delivering on our goals.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Student Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with purchasing and measuring eyewear, and representing our brand with professionalism and enthusiasm. This position will require you to be available Sunday and may also involve some weekday work as required.

Duties:

- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences

- Demonstrate product features and benefits through effective product demos

- Deliver sales that meet our patient needs by recommending products that meet customer requirements.

- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor to enhance the shopping experience

- Process transactions accurately and efficiently

- Meet and exceed sales targets to contribute to the overall success of the team

Skills:

-Must be currently studying or enrolled to study Opticianry

- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus

- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and sales records effectively

- Basic math skills for processing transactions and calculating discounts

- Previous experience in retail sales is advantageous

- Excellent communication skills, in English, to interact with customers and team members

- Effective time management to prioritize tasks efficiently

- Exceptional customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction

Pay: $18.75-$19.75 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 24 per week
