Applications are invited from 3rd & 4th-year students, majoring in Kinesiology, who are interested in assisting in KINE-2210 (Intro to Exercise Physiology) laboratory sections.
Applications are invited from 4th-year students, majoring in Kinesiology, who are interested in assisting in KINE-3120 (Intro to Biomechanics), or KINE-3430 (Physiological Assessment and Training) laboratory sections.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the instructor with laboratory setup, demonstrations, support students while in the laboratory, marking (outside of scheduled section(s)), and other duties as required
The successful applicants will be required to participate at a minimum, in a weekly lab (up to 4-hour) for the duration of the semester
Student assistants will be expected to begin their lab shift 15-minutes prior to the start of each lab and remain 15-minutes after completion
QUALIFICATIONS:
For the KINE lab section(s) identified in application, students must have a high academic standing (minimum 75%) and have excelled in the laboratory component. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.

KINE-2210 - Applicants must have completed KINE 2210 (Intro to Exercise Physiology)
KINE-3120/ KINE-3430 - Applicants must have completed KINE 3120 (Intro to Biomechanics) and/or KINE-3430 (Physiological Assessment and Training). Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a laboratory setting will be considered an asset
