This position will report into the Manager, Internal Audit. The incumbent will have primary responsibility for supporting the internal controls program and other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities:
Working with members of the Internal Audit team to provide support for the internal controls program testing and reporting

Present and discuss findings and recommendations to the Manager, Director or Vice President of the team, and specific business unit management

Ensure that action items are thoughtful, relevant, constructive, and actionable and address the root causes of the issues identified

Follow-up on management?s remediation plans on a timely basis if required

Develop effective working relationships with staff in various areas throughout OMERS and OMERS business units.

To succeed in this role, you:
Working towards a university degree in a relevant field of business, or finance.

Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks at once.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Highly experienced with MS Office products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
