Working on the Global Communications Design & Content team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll have the ability to create a variety of digital and print materials for the OMERS brand. These will include marketing and communications collateral, brand templates, event materials, infographics, editorial designs, and presentations. We take great pride in contributing to the communities where we live with an ever-constant eye to the global investment markets.Job responsibilities:Developing and maintaining a consistent brand presence across marketing, creative and digital channels.Participating in collaborative ideation sessions with the Global Communications team and our key stakeholders to develop insightful and striking design solutions.Engaging in giving and receiving productive design feedback.Articulating your design thinking and solutions in presentations, workshops, and sessions.Balancing a variety of projects, delivering against tight deadlines during busier seasons.Influencing and developing brand guidelines and assets, such as templates, presentation decks and reports.Apply if you\xe2\x80\x99re:Enrolled in your third or fourth year of study. Preferred programs of study include: Media Production (Radio & Television), Media Arts, Graphic Communication Management, Image Arts, Professional Communication.Hard-working and self-motivated with a positive attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills.Able to show samples of work/ have a portfolio demonstrating compelling visual, interactive and graphic design skills.Comfortable using Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint and InDesign.Comfortable with communicating your design thinking/process.Any of the following skills are also an asset: video editing, motion graphics, web design and Illustration.Application requirements:Please provide three to five samples as part of your portfolio.What\xe2\x80\x99s in it for you:Opportunity to be part of the student community at OMERS & Oxford.
