The student will assist in the assembly of meals and serve patient meals in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and aseptic conditions in assigned areas, stocking the dish room, and ensuring compliance with infection prevention standards.
Qualifications and Experience
Student under the age of 18 and currently at least 15 years of age.
Food Handler Training Certificate is preferred.
Knowledge of Best Practices for Prevention and Control of Infection in Health Care Settings
Ability to use Microsoft Office
Proven ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written English instructions.
Demonstrates proficiency in written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position (standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting).
Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork

Hours of Work:
In order to provide the necessary patient care, our operations run 24/7. There is the
expectation that you are available to work weekdays, weekends and all shifts (days, evenings).
Other:
Seven days a week availability with shifts from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm (up to 3 shifts per week)
