About the Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a

Student, Engineering

to join the Centerra Corporate team. This position is a remote/hybrid role based at our

Toronto, ON office

.



Reporting to the Deputy Project Director, the Student, Engineering will work with the Projects and Technical Services team to provide planning and engineering support to the Goldfield Project. This is a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in the mining sector, working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and challenging environment. You'll be contributing to critical projects and learning how engineering principles are applied in large-scale operations. This role will require the candidate to travel to the project site to assist in field campaigns, and potential early site establishment work. This will be a 12-month work term.



Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


Assemble presentation materials with project leadership Support and coordinate ongoing engineering and operational projects Conduct technical analysis, data collection, and reporting Assist with maintenance planning and inspections Participate in safety and environmental initiatives Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site and in the office Present findings or improvements to supervisors and stakeholders

About you

To qualify, you must be a university student working towards a

Bachelor's degree in Engineering in any of the following fields - Mining, Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical





The following will be critical to successfully performing this role:


Eligible to complete a placement as part of your course program Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn Good work ethic and a strong attitude towards safety Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Valid Driver's License Legal ability to travel within North America - ie. Valid Passport
