The Role





Join our operational technology and research (OTR) team within the Technical Services department and work from our Saskatoon office to support uranium mining, milling, refining, and fuel services operations.


In this role, you will:



Assist with the development and implementation of technology-driven projects and initiatives focused on automation and AI. Assist with preparation of project management plans and technical documentation. Support senior engineers with technical assignments within the OTR team, such as AVEVA PI data system, control loop optimization, development of industrial control system standards, practices, and procedures. Perform other duties including computer programming and engineering design, as assigned.


Required:




Currently entering your third or fourth year of a university program in electrical engineering, computer engineering/science or a related field Must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to travel occasionally to operations, including northern Saskatchewan and Ontario



Recommended:




Previous experience working with industrial/research projects Proficient with Microsoft Office suite Experience using programming tools, such as C/C++ or Python Familiar with design and simulation tools, such as Autodesk suite or SolidWorks

You will have the opportunity to work hybrid in this position. There will be a need for intermittent in-person work at the Saskatoon office. The details of this flex work arrangement will be discussed with you in the recruitment process.
