Job Description

As a student coordinator, you report to the Student Pathway and Institutional Support Department. Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director, Student Pathway, you will provide advice, assistance, facilitation and information to students regarding their academic career. The position also includes advisory functions for teaching and management staff on the teaching programs and academic progress of students.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advise students on the programs and their academic background (choice of courses, orientation, impacts);
• Analyze routes, carry out planning and propose adapted options;
• Issue registration authorizations in accordance with applicable rules and policies;
• Ensure the implementation of the success plan and compliance with academic policies;
• Act as a resource person for students in difficulty and promote success and retention;
• Ensure the administrative follow-up of situations that may affect academic progress;
• Supervise the preparation of schedules and the monitoring of study permits and CAQ;
• Participate in the organization and implementation of pre-school and welcome activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant experience of 3 to 5 years (in education, an asset);
• DEC or BAC in a related field;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Clara, CRM or Adobe Signature (assets);
• Structured, rigorous, with a spirit of initiative and leadership;
• Approach focused on support in a context of diversified and international clientele (asset);
• Fluency in the French language (oral and written);
• Proficiency in the English language at a professional level (oral and written).

This role involves frequent interactions with internal and external customers and partners on a national and global scale. Professional proficiency in English is therefore a requirement for this role.
