Co-op/Intern \xe2\x80\x93 Data Management
Reporting to the Regional Manager, Integrated Platform and Data Management, the Data Management Co-op/Intern is an integral member of the Regional Digital Health (RDH) team and has a synergistic working relationship with areas and stakeholders they support, ensuring data integrity, the performance and monitoring of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) reporting solution of the partnership. The successful candidate will be highly service oriented with excellent communication skills to effectively respond to users\xe2\x80\x99 needs and inquiries and handle escalated support problems. Please note that this paid Co-op/Internship opportunity is for a part time, 8-month duration with a possibility of extension.
Objectives/Tasks
- Develop/build packages and auditing SSIS
- Assist team members with: developing data models, mapping source systems and using extract/transfer/load (ETL) principles
- Develop solutions and/or packages using MS Visual Studio
- Documentation Auditing \xe2\x80\x93 Create/update technical documentation
- Opportunity to participate in Projects/Initiatives \xe2\x80\x93 Assist with innovative solutions to positively impact patient care.
- Any other tasks based on the team needs
- Diploma or Undergraduate degree in Computer Science (in progress) or pursuing appropriate professional certifications
- Experience using Microsoft SSRS and Visual Studio
- Experience in business intelligence tools is an asset
- Experience with modern relational databases and data modelling is an asset
- SQL knowledge (queries, stored procedures, alerts, index optimization) is an asset
- Python knowledge is an asset
