Students will work alongside the Scenic Carpenter to do a variety of tasks, which may include: assisting in painting, building props/sets. Organizing the shop and prop storage. Cleaning of the shop and stages. Pulling props (as required) from in-house supplies and research as necessary.
Position Requirements
Preference will be given to students registered in the Theatre program and who have a good knowledge of the Scene Shop, experience in building props (ideally beyond the University setting), creative thinking is necessary and the demonstrated ability to work independently is required.
Physical Demands Pay Grade As Per CUPE 2419 Salary Range As Per CUPE 2419 Collective Agreement Status Casual Work Hours
Hours: Variable up to a maximum of 40 hours for the semester, may include more hours during busy periods.
