JOB TEXT:
Student Assistants Student Assistants work with and provide support to students with severe cognitive, physical and/or behavioral needs. The role of a student assistant is student specific and will vary from school to school. Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Training in the area of Early Childhood Education, Child Youth Care Worker, Special Education or other related fields
- Experience working with children either in a work or volunteer capacity
- Training in Standard First Aid, Non-Crisis Intervention and/or Behavioral Management would be considered an asset.
