Student Assistant - Data Entry for the Canadian Common CV

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Student Assistant (either a graduate or undergraduate student) to join our team. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the professor to input CV data into the Canadian Common CV (CCV) system.

As a Student Assistant, the overall duties and responsibilities will encompass:

  • Taking line-by-line data from the CV and entering it into the CCV database.
  • Engaging in regular check-ins with the professor to ensure that the format is as desired.
  • Ensuring that language and spelling is accurate.
  • Ensuring confidentiality.
The Student Assistant will report to Professor Michelle Prytula.

Required Number of Hours: 3 hours per week

Duration of Employment: September 1 to December 31, 2023

Qualifications (Skills and Abilities)
  • Strong attention to detail and meticulous data-entry skills.
  • Familiarity with CV formats and academic terminology.
  • Proficient in computer and database usage.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the professor and team members.
  • Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and data security.
