Alberta University of the Arts (AUArts) is situated on the ancestral land of the Siksikaitsitapi - Blackfoot Confederacy which includes the Siksika, Kainai, Piikani Nations and the shared territories of the Tsuut'ina Nation as well as the Iyarhe Nakoda-Stoney which includes Bearspaw, Chiniki, Good Stoney Nations and also the home of the Metis Nation of District 5 and 6. The Alberta University of the Arts is one of only four major art, craft and design focused Universities in Canada. Alberta University of the Arts (AUArts) is looking for a temporary Student Affairs Assistant to contribute their highly organized, customer service-oriented, and problem-solving skills to a dynamic Registrar's office.
This is a temporary full-time position starting as soon as possible until October 2026. Hours of work are 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day.
As a first point of contact for the students of AUArts, the Student Affairs Assistant provides information and assistance regarding programs, registration and student accounts in accordance with established policies and procedures. The Assistant initiates and maintains student files and academic records; and inputs data with respect to student personal data, admission, registration, grading and graduation information. The Assistant prepares and drafts a variety of letters, documents and reports related to the operations of Student Affairs.
