Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking LOCAL skilled Stucco Plasterers and Labourers to join our team. You will be responsible for applying plaster and other materials to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth and even finish. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Applicants not local to Winnipeg or surrounding areas will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

- (Labourers) Mixing products for Plasterers, Cleaning job site, other jobs as required.

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer

- Mix Stucco or plaster ingredients according to specific ratios

- Apply Stucco or plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using trowels, brushes, or spray guns

- Smooth and level Stucco or plaster using hand tools or power tools

- Create decorative finishes by adding texture or patterns

- Repair cracks, holes, or damaged areas in existing Stucco or plaster

- Follow Architectural and structural drawings or instructions to ensure accurate measurements and finishes

- Clean and maintain tools and equipment

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Plasterer or similar role in the construction industry

- Knowledge of plastering techniques and materials is an asset

- Architectural and structural drawings reading and interpreting construction plans

- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and Stucco or plastering equipment

- Attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality finishes

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
