hands-on role
where you will be responsible for installing and certifying structured cabling systems that power critical data and telecom networks.
We are looking for technicians who have
proven experience running 300+ cables
in real-world projects and can confidently deliver quality installations that meet industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling to meet performance standards.
Manage large-scale structured cabling installations (300+ cables) in data center and enterprise environments.
Execute cable labeling, dressing, termination, and certification to ensure system reliability and quality.
Conduct site surveys and design pathways, racks, patch panels, and termination points for optimal setup.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to deliver projects within scope and timelines.
Ensure compliance with TIA/EIA, NEC, and BICSI standards across all installations.
Maintain precise documentation of cable runs, patch panels, and terminations for reference and audits.
Follow all safety procedures while working on ladders, lifts, and in confined or elevated spaces.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum
2-4 years of experience
in structured cabling projects.
Proven ability to run and terminate
300+ cables
across multiple projects.
Strong knowledge of cabling standards (TIA/EIA, NEC, BICSI).
Hands-on experience with
fiber optics (termination, splicing, testing)
is an asset.
Ability to read floor plans and follow project specifications.
Familiarity with test equipment (Fluke or equivalent).
Certifications such as
BICSI Installer or Fiber Optic Certification
preferred.
Physically fit to lift 50 lbs, work on ladders, and operate in demanding environments.
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
