Structured Cabling Labourer

to join our growing team.

As a Structured Cabling Labourer, you will support our technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of structured cabling systems for various commercial and residential projects. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop hands-on skills in the telecommunications and cabling industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation and routing of structured cabling systems (fiber optic, copper, and low-voltage cables). Help with the setup of racks, trays, and cable management systems. Perform site preparation, including measuring, cutting, and organizing materials. Work alongside senior technicians to ensure accurate and timely installations. Maintain job sites by ensuring they are clean, organized, and safe. Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards. Troubleshoot and identify basic cabling issues under the supervision of experienced technicians. Load and unload materials and equipment as necessary. Assist with testing and documentation of completed systems.

Qualifications:

Previous experience or training in cabling, telecommunications, or electrical work is an asset but not required. Strong physical stamina to handle manual labor and lift heavy materials. Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and cable handling equipment. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication skills. A strong commitment to safety and quality. Willingness to learn and grow in the industry. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Expected hours: 32 - 44 per week
