Mid Canada Mod Centre (MC2) and Avionics Design Services (ADS) joined De Havilland in October 2023, creating additional capacity and expanding our expertise in both avionics design services and upgrades as well as maintenance and modifications.
In October of 2023, De Havilland Aircraft of Canada announced the acquisition of Mid Canada Mod Centre (MC2). Mid Canada Mod Centre is comprised of industry leading experts focused on ensuring commercial, charter, special mission and business aircraft operators are equipped with flight decks that provide safety and efficiency. As a premier Canadian aviation maintenance shop, the team of experts works to define avionics requirements to develop and certify solutions that fit each operator's individual need.
Position Profile
We are seeking skilled and collaborative professionals to join our structures Team in Breslau, Ontario. We are looking for experienced installers and technicians to join our growing team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Adhere to all regulatory requirements and company policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Accurately complete all required documentation in accordance with procedures, manuals, and regulations.
Employ the proper tools, equipment, methods, and techniques required to perform safe aircraft maintenance.
Read and interpret structural drawings to support maintenance and installation tasks.
Execute assigned work tasks and other duties as directed by the Structures Supervisor/Manager.
Report any unsafe or unapproved work conditions or practices to the structure's supervisor or safety representative.
Qualifications
Currently hold or working towards AME "S" Transport Canada license or possess equivalent related experience.
Prior experience in aircraft structures is considered an asset.
Ability to lift to 25kg, and perform tasks in confined spaces, including climbing, kneeling, and crawling.
Comfortable working at heights and in restricted areas.
Willingness to work shift schedules and overtimes as needed.
Must be available to travel for occasional AOG recovery operations (or short periods of time for offsite installations).
Experience with all De Havilland Aircraft of Canada products consider an asset.
