Major Responsibilities
Experience in Concrete, Steel and Wood design
Site inspection and evaluation of existing buildings
Preparation of study reports, Reserve Fund Study etc.
Preparation of drawings and specifications for rehabilitation projects
Perform structural analysis and design for existing and new commercial and industrial buildings
Complete structural calculations for residential, commercial and industrial buildings or structures
Prepare proposals and project related documents
Coordinate and guide technical staff in preparation of design drawings and documents
Coordinate structural designs and documents with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing etc.)
Provide structural engineering support during construction, attend project design and site meetings
Interact with all project stakeholders.
Professional Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering;
Registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGA as EIT or P.Eng.
Min. 2 years of related experience in structural design in North America is required
Proficient in general structural engineering design software such as STAAD Pro.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Great team player
A valid driver's license
