Structural Engineer

to support their growing operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Design and analyze steel structures, ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards. Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and specifications for fabrication and construction. Work closely with project managers, fabricators, and site teams to ensure accurate execution of designs. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural integrity and compliance. Assist in the development of cost-effective engineering solutions for custom steel fabrication projects. Ensure all structural designs meet safety, durability, and load-bearing requirements. Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to optimize project outcomes.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. P.Eng designation (or working towards it) in Ontario is preferred. 5+ years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in steel fabrication or construction. Strong knowledge of steel design principles, codes, and standards (CISC, CSA S16, OBC). Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, Tekla, AutoCAD, or similar). Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
