to join our engineering firm in Surrey, BC. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strongAutoCAD drafting
andstructural detailing
experience.Key Responsibilities
Prepare
structural drawings
, construction drawings, and shop drawings Draftresidential, commercial, and industrial structural plans
UseAutoCAD
for structural drafting and detailing Coordinate withstructural engineers
to interpret design specifications Revise and update drawings to meetBC Building Code
requirements Support project documentation and permit submissionsQualifications & Skills
Diploma or Degree in
Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Drafting Technology
2+ years experience as aStructural Draftsperson / CAD Technician
Strong knowledge ofstructural steel, concrete, and wood framing drawings
Proficiency inAutoCAD drafting
(Revit experience is an advantage) Understanding ofconstruction documents and structural detailing
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesJob Details
