Hold an associates or higher degree in automated drawing or civil engineering technology or in a related field.
Have minimum three (3) years of experience in structural drafting and/or engineering.
Experience working in construction, an asset.
Have good communication skills (oral and written) in English
Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD 3D software.
Knowledge of AutoCAD 3D software and other AutoCAD programs
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to work to meet cost objectives, quality, and deadlines.
Time management skills and adaptation to change.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities will include:
Create 3D structural models using AutoCAD, CADWorks Structure experience is a plus.
Prepare 2D packages from the design models.
Collaborate with other disciplines and the project engineering team for structural design requirements.
Create drawings with minimal supervision.
Develop technical drawings from sketches (determining appropriate scales, arrangement, and specific details of the drawings) from the concepts required by the engineering team.
Respect and enforce policies and procedures in the preparation of drawings.
Realize the different stages of the project in the timeframes and budgets.
Perform other related duties that may contribute to the projects.
