with strong aerospace experience to join our team in Victoria, BC. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in aerospace structural design, engineering change management, and CAD tools like CATIA V5, while ensuring compliance with airworthiness and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform structural design and development of aerospace components and assemblies in compliance with industry standards and airworthiness requirements.
Lead and support
Engineering Change Management (ECM)
processes, ensuring timely execution and documentation of design modifications.
Create, update, and review
3D models and 2D drawings
using CATIA V5 and ENOVIA/PLM systems.
Apply
GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
principles to ensure manufacturability and assembly accuracy.
Collaborate with stress, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams to integrate designs.
Conduct
design reviews, tolerance stack-up analysis
, and maintain detailed design documentation.
Provide engineering solutions for issues raised during manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
Manage workflows and data using
ENOVIA PLM
.
Ensure strict adherence to
aerospace standards, quality, and schedule targets
.
Qualifications
Experience:
8-15 years in aerospace structural design.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering field.
Strong knowledge of
CATIA V5
,
ENOVIA/PLM
, and GD&T principles.
Proven experience in
aerospace component and assembly design
.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional, global teams.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
