We are currently seeking a Structural CAD/Revit Technologist to complement our growing team. The position is in the Buildings and Facilities Engineering Division within the Integrated Engineering Design business unit in our Markham office.

This position offers potential for growth in the areas of both technical and professional development. This is an exciting opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary engineering team and work on interesting and complex projects of all scales and market sectors.

Key member of a structural team in a multi-disciplinary setting, tasked with the creation of structural models and drawings and preparation of contract documents. The individual will work closely with Structural Engineers and Designers to conceptualize, develop and document structural designs for buildings and buildings-related infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Independent production of structural drawings from engineers\' notes and sketches, architectural drawings, engineering schematics, and maintaining corporate drafting standards

Coordinates with architects and other engineering disciplines for multi-disciplinary projects

Creates and develops Revit models for new and existing building structures

Creates and develops of AutoCAD drawings for new and existing building structures

Involve in Revit content management, including editing and developing new templates and families

Qualifications:

Technical diploma from an accredited college with an emphasis on civil/structural engineering technology

Knowledgeable in fundamentals of structural drafting and design

Minimum 3 years of experience in structural drawing production for new buildings and renovations/retrofits within the Architectural/Engineering consulting industries

Experience with Revit, BIM360 and AutoCAD required

Experience with importing/exporting Revit models to/from structural analysis software would be an asset

Experience with MicroStation would be an asset

Working proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills

Able to work efficiently independently and in a team setting

Able to work efficiently and coordinate with remote delivery teams
