We are committed to providing high-quality engineering services to our clients in a timely manner.RAFT Consulting is seeking an experienced Structural CAD Draftsperson who specializes in drafting structural framing plans for timber single-family homes to join our team on a contract basis as a freelancer. This is a Part-time/Contract position with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time position in the future.We offer flexible working hours and the opportunity to work remotely.Qualifications: Hold a diploma, certificate or equivalent experience or training in drafting or technology At least 5 years of experience creating structural building plans Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and details Must have some extensive experience in preparing structural plans for wood-framed buildings Must be proficient in AutoCAD Proficiency in Revit would be considered an asset. Be able to communicate effectivelyScope of Responsibilities: Use AutoCAD to draft structural framing plans, elevations and details for wood-frame residential projects Prepare structural drawings for steel framing industrial buildings and warehousesBenefits Competitive hourly salary Flexible working hours Work remotelyPlease apply with your Resume.
