The Structural BIM Modeler/Designer is responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating detailed 3D structural models for building and infrastructure projects using BIM software (such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks). What you can expect to do here:
Create and maintain detailed 3D structural models using BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc.).
Interpret architectural and engineering plans to develop integrated structural models.
Generate and extract 2D drawings, details, and schedules from 3D models for construction documentation.
Perform clash detection and resolve spatial conflicts between structural, architectural, and MEP components.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure model accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Update and modify models as per revised plans, specifications, or redline markups.
Maintain project BIM libraries, templates, and families.
What you'll bring to WSP:
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360; knowledge of Civil 3D, Tekla, or Bentley MicroStation is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
Experience with clash detection, model coordination, and 3D visualization.
* Must be eligible to attain reliability level security clearance as a minimum, and secret level clearance would be an asset
